Vector Solutions seeks a dedicated Software Engineer with strong development experience in client-server architecture and rapid prototyping technologies. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge software solutions that meet the needs of a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications, leveraging your expertise in Python or C# and your ability to create robust and scalable client-server systems. This position requires an individual who can work independently while contributing collaboratively in a fully remote team setting, offering excellent flexibility to optimize personal productivity.
The ideal candidate is proficient in API development and documentation, with familiarity in RESTful API design and financial APIs being an advantage. Experience with enterprise systems is beneficial, and a strong commitment to quality and innovation is expected. While this role does not involve managing a team, the Software Engineer will play a crucial part in driving technical excellence and delivering impactful solutions within Vector Solutions product ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python, C#, and .NET Framework technologies.
- Build client-server architecture solutions that ensure scalability, reliability, and efficient performance.
- Collaborate with team members in an agile development environment to implement rapid prototypes and iterative improvements.
- Develop, document, and maintain RESTful APIs ensuring clear and comprehensive API documentation to facilitate integration.
- Work independently to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality code on schedule.
- Integrate financial APIs and other enterprise systems to extend application capabilities and ensure seamless data flow.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in testing activities to ensure the quality and robustness of applications.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues promptly.
- Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams, contributing effectively in a virtual work environment.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in software development to continuously improve skills and product quality.
- Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly with stakeholders and team members.
