Software Engineer (Remote)

Payout: $40 \- $150/hour Role Overview We are hiring a Software Engineer to design, build, and ship production\-grade software in a fully remote environment. In this role, you will work across modern stacks such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, Rust, and Java to build scalable web applications, APIs, and backend services. The ideal candidate has strong engineering fundamentals, a collaborative mindset, and is comfortable owning features end\-to\-end. Key Responsibilities \- Design, build, and ship production features across frontend, backend, or full\-stack layers. \- Write clean, maintainable, well\-tested code in your primary language. \- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning. \- Collaborate asynchronously with product, design, data, and AI teammates. \- Improve performance, reliability, and developer experience over time. \- Troubleshoot bugs and contribute to production incident response when needed. Required Skills \& Qualifications \- 1\+ years of professional software engineering experience. \- Strong proficiency in one or more: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java, or C\#. \- Solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, APIs, and databases. \- Experience with Git, code review workflows, and automated testing. \- Strong written English and async communication skills. \- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup. Preferred Qualifications \- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. \- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines. \- Exposure to LLMs, RAG pipelines, or AI\-powered applications. \- Open\-source contributions or a public portfolio. \- Experience working with distributed or microservices architectures.
