With a grand vision to pair technology with brokerage services, we aim to establish ourselves as the premier destination for business exchanges, driven by genuine human connections. **Your future opportunity with us** We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to own and build BizScout's marketing technology and operations infrastructure. You'll work closely with our executive team and engineering team as a trusted thought partner — designing and building the systems that connect our users to our products across every touchpoint in the buyer, seller, and broker journey. This isn't a "build landing pages" role. You'll be architecting the connective tissue between our platform and the marketing ecosystem — building analytics instrumentation and attribution systems, integrating CRMs and email platforms, standing up experimentation infrastructure, and developing programmatic SEO strategies that drive organic growth at scale. You'll own the full lifecycle of marketing technology initiatives: from identifying gaps in the user journey, to scoping and designing solutions, to shipping production code and measuring impact. The ideal candidate lives at the intersection of engineering and growth. You have deep experience building marketing tech systems — tracking pipelines, automation workflows, third\-party integrations — and you understand how these systems translate into measurable business outcomes. You bring end\-to\-end SDLC experience and want to merge your technical chops with a genuine passion for building scalable growth infrastructure in a fast\-moving startup. You value autonomy, think in terms of funnels and conversion as naturally as you think in terms of APIs and databases, and you have a relentless bias for shipping. Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, you'll lead development initiatives that directly impact how BizScout acquires, activates, and retains users — owning the marketing tech stack end\-to\-end. **What your day\-to\-day would look like** * Design, build, and maintain the marketing technology infrastructure that connects BizScout's platforms and products to our users — from first touch to conversion and beyond. * Implement and manage analytics instrumentation across our platforms — event tracking, conversion funnels, UTM strategies, and attribution modeling — to ensure marketing decisions are data\-driven. * Build and maintain integrations with third\-party marketing platforms (CRM, email/ESP, analytics, ad platforms, enrichment tools) to create a cohesive and automated martech stack. * Lead programmatic SEO (pSEO) and AI\-SEO initiatives — building scalable page generation systems, optimizing technical SEO, and developing content delivery infrastructure that drives organic traffic. * Design and implement A/B testing and experimentation infrastructure to enable rapid iteration on user\-facing experiences, landing pages, and conversion flows. * Build automated marketing workflows — drip campaigns, lead scoring logic, personalization engines, and lifecycle messaging — that move users through the funnel without manual intervention. * Collaborate cross\-functionally with marketing, product, supply, and engineering teams to identify gaps in the user journey and translate business requirements into technical solutions that deliver measurable outcomes. * Own the data flow between marketing systems — ensuring clean data pipelines from tracking events through to reporting dashboards and downstream tools. * Stay current with martech trends, emerging growth engineering patterns, and new tools to continuously improve BizScout's marketing technology capabilities. **What you’ll bring to the table** *Core Technical Skills* * 3\+ years of experience building and maintaining marketing technology systems, growth infrastructure, or user\-facing web applications in a JS/TS stack. * Strong full\-stack experience with Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Next.js, and TailwindCSS — ideally deployed on Vercel or similar serverless platforms. * Deep understanding of SEO, programmatic SEO (pSEO), and AI\-assisted SEO — including experience building scalable page generation systems and optimizing for search at scale. * Experience with analytics instrumentation and tracking — implementing event tracking (GA4, Segment, Mixpanel, or similar), managing conversion pixels, and building attribution models. * Proficiency with marketing automation and integration platforms — CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce), ESPs (Customer.io, SendGrid, Mailchimp), and tag management (Google Tag Manager). *Marketing Technology \& Growth* * Experience building \& managing A/B testing and experimentation systems (Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, or custom solutions). * Familiarity with marketing data pipelines — moving data between tracking tools, CRMs, analytics platforms, and reporting dashboards. * Understanding of conversion optimization, funnel analysis, and how engineering decisions impact growth metrics. * Experience with performance marketing integrations — ad pixel implementation, conversion APIs, and basic attribution (a plus). *Engineering \& Platform* * Experience with animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP, Lottie) for building polished, high\-converting marketing pages. * Ability to dive into an unfamiliar monolithic codebase, understand the product and platform, and make meaningful improvements. * Experience with headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Sanity, Strapi) is a plus. * Experience with agentic coding tools is a must. * Experience with NestJs/ExpressJs is a plus. * Experience with high\-growth startups is a plus. *Mindset \& approach* * You think in terms of user journeys and conversion funnels as naturally as you think in terms of components and endpoints. * A genuine interest in learning new platforms, frameworks, and marketing tools — the martech landscape moves fast and you keep up. **Personality \& Cultural fit** * You want to define challenging product \& engineering problems \& solve them from DAY 1 * You understand the startup grind \& hustle and you’re excited to be a part of it every day. * You are a self\-starter with an action, execution \& iteration oriented mindset to get the job done no matter what. * You’re not afraid to pick up new things, learn fast \& execute in parallel. * You are a master generalist who doesn’t quite fit into one domain, rather likes working \& taking ownership end\-to\-end. * You breathe technology \& stay up to date with technology trends * You’re a champion in your team \& push you peers to be a champion with you **BizScout Engineering Culture** *Ship fast, learn faster, iterate relentlessly.* **We're building the future of business transactions through technology and genuine human connections. Our current Engineering team is distributed across US, Bangladesh, Philippines \& Pakistan Please note: This role requires being available during regular business hours in CST timezone (from 9am\-5pm CST)
