Job Description
**Job Description**
**Every door that opens, every credential that works, runs on software built by engineers like you. At ID\-ware, you’ll be at the core of it.**
ID\-ware is a fast\-growing, international company shaping the future of Physical Identity and Access Management (PIAM) solutions. Our OCMS (Online Card Management System) is the core credential management product at the heart of our access control ecosystem: managing cards, personal data, and integrations with access management systems for clients worldwide.
We are looking for an experienced Full\-Stack Software Engineer to join our OCMS team. Due to growing demand and an expanding product roadmap, we need a strong engineer who can hit the ground running on our main product. You will work alongside a small, international team to build, secure, and modernize mission\-critical modules that handle card credentials and access data.
**What You Will Do**
* Extend and maintain the legacy .NET Framework\-based application as a primary ongoing responsibility.
* Design and develop secure, full\-stack enterprise modules within the OCMS platform, handling card credentials and personal data.
* Migrate and modernize legacy .NET 4\.x applications to modern .NET 8/10 and Angular\-based architecture.
* Maintain and enhance existing jQuery\-based interfaces and resolve legacy bugs.
* Build scalable APIs, backend services, and optimized SQL queries that power the OCMS platform.
* Write and maintain unit tests as part of daily development practice.
* Review pull requests, add meaningful logs, and proactively identify and resolve system issues.
* Work on third\-party integrations and contribute to complex OCMS connector and workflow implementations.
* Deploy and support applications on Microsoft Azure.
**What Success Looks Like**
* You have gained solid domain knowledge of OCMS and understand how data flows through the full PIAM solution, including connectors and integrations.
* You write clean, readable, and secure code that meets our standards and is well\-tested.
* You are proactive, take ownership of tasks, and contribute ideas; not waiting to be told what to do next.
**Your profile**
**What You Bring**
* 3\+ years of hands\-on, production\-level full\-stack software development experience.
* Proficiency in .NET Framework and .NET 8/10 backend development.
* Experience with Angular 12\+ and Razor Pages for front\-end development.
* Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills; comfortable working with jQuery for legacy system maintenance.
* Solid SQL skills: a key pillar of working effectively on OCMS.
* A commitment to clean, maintainable, secure, and well\-tested code.
* Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
* A proactive mindset: you take initiative and don’t wait to be told what to do next.
***Nice to have:***
* Azure Cloud experience (Functions, Azure Service Bus, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).
* React experience for future frontend modernization initiatives.
**What do we offer?**
You will join a growing, international company that is shaping the future of PIAM solutions, where the OCMS Engineering team plays a key role in supporting informed and compliant decisions. At ID\-ware you can expect a collaborative environment with room to learn from experienced colleagues, expand your responsibilities over time, and build a strong track record as a Full\-Stack Software Engineer.
* A career\-oriented position in a rapidly growing company
* Opportunity to work with multinational clients in an international environment
* Be a part of an international team
* Opportunities to further develop your skills by participating in company sponsored internal or external technical courses
**What is our hiring process?**
* Recruiter screen: an introductory call to discuss your background and the role.
* Technical interview with the Hiring Manager: a deeper dive into your technical experience, including your comfort with our tech stack (including legacy technologies).
