Job Description
At Quantcast, we don't just build advertising technology, we revolutionize how it works. Our AI\-powered Demand Side Platform (DSP) connects the world's most ambitious marketers with their ideal audiences across the open internet, delivering results that actually move the needle. Since 2006, we've been the industry's trailblazer, launching the first AI\-powered measurement platform for publishers and the first AI\-driven DSP. Our AI doesn't just optimize—it delivers the measurable outcomes that matter most to our clients, giving them the competitive edge they need in a crowded marketplace. Ready to join the team that's defining the future of digital advertising?
Quantcast is the advertising platform brands like IKEA, Microsoft, and United Airlines use to run ads that drive measurable business outcomes — a purchase, a sign\-up, a booking. Advertisers want to know where and how every dollar was spent, and how that contributes to the outcome. The Campaign Success team builds the products advertisers open every morning to see what their ads drove and decide where to push budget next — and we're re\-imagining that experience from the ground up using agentic engineering and Quantcast's unique data.
We are hiring a new grad or early\-career engineer to ship features that customers use directly. You'll be paired with a senior engineer as your mentor through onboarding and beyond, own pieces of the product, and operate the systems you build.
**What You'll Do**
* Build customer\-facing features that surface insights about ad campaigns — full stack: React and TypeScript frontend, Java/Python backend, database, with testing, monitoring, docs, and operational ownership.
* Hands\-on exploration of how AI agents fit into our product and our customers' workflows — what unlocks real value, what's noise, what we should ship next.
* Participation in our engineering rituals — system design discussions, Code reviews, on\-call, the operational habits that keep a team shipping reliably.
* Cross\-functional work with Product Managers and Designers — you'll be in the room when we decide what to build and why, not just be handed a spec to implement.
**Who You Are**
* New grad or up to 1 year of experience.
* You must be work\-authorized in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship. We are not currently able to engage candidates on OPT.
* You've built at least one substantive project — a side project, a class project, an internship deliverable, an open\-source contribution. You can talk through the trade\-offs you made and what you'd do differently. Bonus if real people used it, and if you built it with AI tools.
* Comfortable in at least one of TypeScript, Java, or Python, and willing to dive into the others. We don't expect mastery on day one.
* Solid CS fundamentals — algorithms, data structures, object\-oriented design. You're curious about what your code does beyond your function — across services, in the database, on the wire.
* You want to understand who'll use what you build, and ask "should we build this?" as much as "can we build this?"
* You aim to write clearly about technical things — it's hard, but it's half of engineering, and we'll help you grow into it.
