Software Developer – Simulation \& Control (ADAS/AD)

to strengthen our team in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Responsibilities

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on simulation environments for autonomous driving (AD) and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). The team develops in-house tools used to test, verify, and validate software systems.

  • Develop and maintain

closed-loop simulation environments

for AD/ADAS systems

  • Contribute to an in-house simulator used to test

decision and control functionalities

  • Work primarily with

C++ and Python

in a high-performance simulation environment

  • Apply and follow open standards such as

OpenScenario, OpenDrive, and OSI

  • Ensure

driver models perform correctly

across relevant scenarios

  • Work within an

agile SCRUM team

, contributing to user stories and backlog ownership

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, engineers, and data scientists

Experience / Background

  • M.Sc. in

Physics, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering

, or similar field

  • Experience with

closed-loop simulations

  • Strong understanding of

control theory

  • Experience working with

C++ and Python

  • Ability to work in

agile development environments

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle

ambiguous requirements

  • Good communication skills and ability to build trust with stakeholders

Meritorious Experience

  • Experience with

driver modelling

in simulation environments

  • Knowledge of

OpenScenario, OpenDrive, and OSI standards

  • Experience within

ADAS or autonomous driving systems

Behavioral Skills

  • Team player with strong

collaboration mindset

  • Self-driven and eager to

learn and improve continuously

  • Comfortable working with

change and uncertainty

  • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility
