Position Title: Project Engineer
Location: D9 Site
Department: Engineering / Project Execution
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Project Engineer
to join our team at the D9 sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day engineering activities, ensuring project execution aligns with design specifications, quality standards, safety norms, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise on-site engineering activities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and interpret drawings, technical specifications, and project plans.
- Monitor project progress against schedule and flag deviations proactively.
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure work quality and timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental (HSE) standards on site.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, technical logs, and material/inventory records.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and planning teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support cost control and budget tracking for assigned work packages.
- Assist in resolving on-site technical challenges and troubleshooting issues.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical updates to management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or relevant discipline).
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in project engineering, preferably in site/field execution roles.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and construction/project methodologies.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar planning/design software.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities on site.
- Prior experience working on similar-scale sites/projects preferred.
