Site Engineer– Concrete Construction Projects
Nord Armering AB is looking for an experienced
Site Manager
to join our team for a large-scale concrete construction project in northern Sweden.
We are a construction company specialized in complex concrete works, including foundations, industrial structures and infrastructure-related projects. Our organization operates across Sweden, Finland and Poland, with a strong focus on quality, safety and efficient project execution.
About the role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating daily site operations. You will ensure that work is planned, executed and followed up according to project requirements, drawings, safety standards and agreed schedules.
You will work closely with project management, supervisors, foremen, workers, subcontractors and client representatives.
Main responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate site activities
- Manage supervisors, foremen and site teams
- Plan manpower, work fronts, materials and equipment
- Ensure that formwork, reinforcement and concrete works are carried out according to drawings and specifications
- Follow up progress, productivity, quality and safety on site
- Coordinate with client representatives and other project stakeholders
- Participate in site meetings and planning activities
- Identify risks, solve practical issues and report deviations
- Support a safe, structured and professional working environment
Requirements
- Experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager, Supervisor or similar role
- Strong background in concrete construction, formwork, reinforcement or civil/industrial projects
- Good understanding of technical drawings, work planning and site coordination
- Experience leading teams on construction sites
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Structured, responsible and solution-oriented way of working
- Good English skills are required
- Swedish language skills are an advantage
- Russian, Polish or Ukrainian language skills are an advantage
- Experience from Nordic construction projects is an advantage
