Whether it is making your commute more efficient, keeping our communities safe, or making remote areas more accessible, at Miller we are proud to Build Greatness in everything we do. **Day in the Life** In this you, you will provide general administrative and operational support by managing time entry and payroll, coordinating work orders and vendor services, and ensuring accurate documentation and cost tracking. Maintain shop operations through inventory control, restocking, and file management, while handling routine clerical duties and inbound communications. **Responsibilities** * Enter technicians time daily and process payroll weekly * Create, follow and close both internal and external work orders; Download open work order reports weekly and close aged work orders, Code invoices for Foreperson’s approval, Review and ensure all comments and costs have been entered into the system before the job is closed, Coordinate incoming DARCI repair requests, Coordinate outside service work with vendors * Liaise with vendors to ensure timely replenishment of shop inventory, including hardware, fittings, and miscellaneous shop supplies * Inventory charge outs * Restock parts inventory * Check fluid inventory (DEF, coolant, washer fluid, etc), oil, and chemical (aerosols) inventory * Cycle counts semi annually * Maintain all shop files * General clerical duties including photocopying, faxing and mailing * Answer, screen, and transfer inbound phone calls * Other administrative tasks as required **Qualifications** * 2 years’ experience in office/shop/parts related work * Maintenance shop experience is an asset * Ability to manage workload effectively and deliver results within established timelines * Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications * JDE Software experience is an asset * Strong organizational skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills **Compensation Data** Targeting $23 \- $26 per hour **Culture** At Miller, we want every employee to feel connected, where creativity and innovation thrive, and your contributions make a real impact.
