Job Description
As our Senior Strategy Manager, you will be at the helm of driving strategic initiatives for the company. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the company remains competitive, innovative, and growth-oriented. You will be working closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and key stakeholders, bringing together the strategic vision and competitive pricing dynamics of the company.
What you will be doing:
- Develop and lead the strategic projects roadmap, ensuring the company's key initiatives are on track and successfully completed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and delivery of strategic projects.
- Take a leading role in corporate and business strategy development, working closely with the UK Management Board & CEO to design, socialise, execute and measure the Strategic vision for the UK business. Key components including annual strategy and planning, OKR development and management and supporting finance (as required) with financial planning
- Build a robust plan to build industry and customer reputation, working closely with the Brand, Sales and Customer Care teams to design initiatives that drives positive brand reputation & marketplace Integrity (TrustPilot, BBB, marketplace ratings/reviews)
- Build and foster relationships with senior leaders, sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
- Lead, mentor, and develop members within the team and across the business, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, especially in pricing, to ensure the company's offerings are ahead of the curve.
- Deliver clear, effective, and impactful presentations, reports, and updates to various stakeholders.
- Address feedback and concerns related to strategic projects and pricing decisions, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned.
Who you are:
- Outstanding commercial awareness / instincts, ability to ideate opportunities and to think strategically
- Experience and ability to turn complex data into simple, easy to understand insights with a commercial focus; analytics foundation must be strong
- Ability and experience in presenting major insights and major recommendations to senior leadership in a credible, impactful, data-driven way
- Strong understanding of customer, financial and other key business metrics
- Experience and ability to program manage (potentially project manage on occasion) and drive business change
- Strong stakeholder management skills including ability to own relationships and be a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders in different functions
- Ability to take vague, ambiguous problems and break it down into solvable plans and actions
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office required, especially PowerPoint and Excel
