Senior Specialist, Policy Operations

We are seeking a Senior Policy Operations Specialist to join our Policy Ops team. In this role, you will focus on operationalizing policies for external partnerships, ensuring our safety and operational standards are effectively implemented as new business initiatives launch. This position requires strong cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to translate policies into scalable operational processes.

You will work closely with the Policy Operations Lead, receiving regular guidance and mentorship while building expertise in policy implementation and operational execution.

Responsibilities:

• Policy Operationalization and Implementation
  • Operationalize policies developed by the Policy Development team for external partnerships, including autonomous vehicle and international expansion initiatives
  • Translate finalized policies into actionable operational procedures, workflows, and agent guidelines
  • Build and maintain operational procedures, workflows, and agent guidelines to support policy rollouts and updates
  • Establish and manage a structured system for version control and policy record-keeping
  • Collaborate with Partnership, Legal, Product, and Operations teams to ensure smooth implementation
• Operational Excellence
  • Identify implementation gaps and propose process solutions aligned with safety standards
  • Support impact analysis and sizing for new policy rollouts
  • Develop scalable frameworks for policy implementation across teams and regions
  • Track and report on policy effectiveness through defined metrics and feedback loops
• Stakeholder Management and Communication
  • Coordinate with partnership teams to understand timelines, requirements, and edge cases
  • Communicate operational changes clearly to relevant internal teams
  • Surface risks, blockers, and implementation challenges to leadership in a timely manner
  • Partner with the Policy Development team to flag operational considerations during policy creation

Experience:

• Required Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in operations, policy operations, trust & safety, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to translate policies into clear operational procedures and workflows
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with partnerships, legal, product, or training teams
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and adapt to shifting priorities
• Preferred Experience
  • Experience in a fast-growing technology company or marketplace platform
  • Background in policy operations related to online safety, content moderation, or user protection
  • Familiarity with mobility, logistics, or autonomous vehicle platforms
