**Senior Software Engineer**
**About the Role**
At Tata Technologies, we are driving innovation in electric mobility by developing advanced energy and charging solutions. Our focus is on creating scalable, sustainable, and user\-centric systems that simplify energy management for electric vehicles across home and fleet environments.
You will be part of a highly collaborative engineering team working end\-to\-end—from early concept and technical strategy to development, deployment, and production of smart energy solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Contribute to the development of next\-generation energy ecosystems, focusing on device integration and cloud infrastructure.
* Design and build backend or full\-stack solutions supporting smart charging and energy platforms.
* Work with event\-driven architectures and modern cloud\-native technologies.
* Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
* Collaborate closely with cross\-functional teams and external partners to deliver scalable and reliable systems.
* Take ownership of deliverables while maintaining strong communication within an agile team environment.
**Required Skills \& Experience**
* Significant years of experience in software development with a focus on cloud and backend systems.
* Strong expertise in:
* Java
* AWS or similar cloud platforms
* Kafka and event\-driven systems
* DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
* Grafana or similar monitoring tools
* Hands\-on experience with system integration in distributed cloud environments.
* Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
* Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Exposure to energy systems, smart charging, or e\-mobility solutions.
* Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills with a structured approach.
* Passion for sustainability and clean energy technologies.

**Additional Requirements**
