**Senior Software Engineer**
**About the Role**
Tata Technologies is looking for an experienced
**.NET Architect**
to join our product team and play a key role in building next\-generation software configuration solutions for embedded systems.
You will be part of a DevOps\-driven environment, contributing to the design and development of a scalable backend platform that supports configuration and deployment workflows within a CI/CD ecosystem.
**About the Team**
The team is responsible for delivering end\-to\-end solutions that support the development and lifecycle of embedded software features. The ConfigHub platform is a critical component used for managing software configurations and enabling seamless deployment pipelines.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Define and evolve the backend architecture and technical roadmap
* Design and develop scalable, secure, and high\-performing solutions using .NET and cloud\-native patterns
* Guide and mentor developers, promoting clean code and best practices
* Ensure system reliability, performance, and operational excellence
* Collaborate with cross\-functional stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
**Required Qualifications (Must\-Have)**
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent
* 8\+ years of backend engineering experience, with 2–3 years in an architectural role
* Strong expertise in
**C\#, .NET (6/7/8\), and ASP.NET Core**
* Deep understanding of
**CLR, memory management, multithreading, async/await, and performance optimization**
* Experience building
**production\-grade APIs and distributed systems**
* Good experience with
**GitHub, Kubernetes, and SQL databases**
* Hands\-on experience with
**Entity Framework or NHibernate**
* Experience designing and implementing
**microservices architectures**
**Nice\-to\-Have Skills**
* Experience with
**Azure cloud services**
(e.g., Application Insights, Azure SQL, App Services)
* Knowledge of
**Docker and container orchestration**
* Experience owning both
**development and production support responsibilities**

* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain architectural concepts clearly
* Self\-driven and collaborative team player
* Comfortable working in complex technical environments
* Structured, analytical, and solution\-oriented mindset
* Fluent in spoken and written English
