With a diverse portfolio designed to meet the specific needs of each specialty, we offer our customers both choice and convenience, enhancing care at every touchpoint. **Job Summary** The Senior Sales Manager – Orthopaedics Nordics provides strategic and operational leadership for the Orthopaedics sales business across the Nordic region, with full accountability for delivering sustainable, targeted year‑on‑year growth. The role leads a complex, multi‑channel sales organisation spanning five countries, including direct sales teams in Sweden, Denmark and Finland, and distributor partnerships in Norway and Iceland. **Key Responsibilities** * Remain a highly visible field‑based leader (60–70% in market), sustaining high‑performing sales execution across all channels, engaging key customers, and driving performance, accountability and customer focus across the Orthopaedics Nordic business. * Partner with the UKINORD HR function to deliver a cohesive, end‑to‑end people strategy that develops capability, drives and rewards performance, and strengthens engagement and retention in line with current and future business needs. * Cultivate a data\-driven sales culture by ensuring strong CRM discipline and empowering teams to leverage digital tools and analytics effectively, improving pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, and decision\-making. * Drive systematic account segmentation and prioritisation to optimise resource deployment and commercial outcomes. * Provide weekly revenue forecasts to ensure that the sales pipeline is effectively managed and sales Vs quota is always within reach. * Work closely with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory availability, and logistics readiness. * Align with Sales Director on pricing strategies, governance, and margin optimisation. * Partner with International Product Management and Marketing teams to shape and deliver national strategies that maximise opportunities and achieve sustainable growth. * Complete ongoing national market appraisal, converting industry intelligence into strategic recommendations to inform commercial direction. * Collaborate with Marketing Management on Medical Education Programs. * Identify, engage and build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). * Effectively manage Business Review processes. * Coordinate and execute tender work effectively. * Champion cultural alignment and engagement across the team. * Provide regular reporting to the Orthopaedics Sales Director \- UKINORD and other relevant stakeholders. * Successfully track and manage expenditures, financial goals and budgets assigned by the Orthopaedics Sales Director \- UKINORD. * Ensure distributor partners are strategically aligned, compliant and enabled to deliver sustainable revenue growth, clinical adoption and strong execution through rigorous forecasting, pipeline management and active performance oversight. * Responsible for continuously assessing the appropriate sales channel within the different markets. * Be prepared for occasional international travel to support global collaboration, key events and business initiatives. * Adhere to and uphold all company policies and regulatory standards, including business conduct, corporate ethics, quality system compliance, and regulatory affairs. The job holder may be asked to perform other tasks and duties commensurate with their skills, experience and position.** **Person Specification** **Education / Qualifications** **Essential** * Educated to degree level or equivalent * A full, valid driving licence **Desirable** * Post graduate business qualification, e.g. MBA * People management qualification * Financial/Accounting qualification * Marketing qualification * Train The Trainer (or equivalent) qualified. **Skill, knowledge and attributes** **Essential** * High degree of capability in the field of Orthopaedics. * Demonstrates strong product knowledge across Power and Sports Medicine, and applies effective sales process expertise to identify capability gaps, closing them with targeted, impactful coaching plans. * The ability to provide strategic vision whilst staying connected to the day\-to\-day realities to effectively implement strategy. * Comfortable with regular (60\-70%) Nordic\-wide travel. * Proven track record of driving cultural transformation. * Excellent communicator with strong people management experience and skills. * Proactive, customer focussed approach. * Excellent problem\-solving ability. * Ability to plan, organise and implement through teamwork and delegation. * Strong influencer capable of achieving results from a diverse team. * Good analytical skills. * Good attention to detail with the ability to analyse data and interpret the information effectively to continuously improve the business. * Ability to work under pressure * Strong IT skills, fully proficient in MS Office and CRM systems. **Experience** **Essential** * A minimum of 5 years' experience in an Orthopaedics Leadership role within the Nordic Market and across various channels.
