Position: Senior Project Engineer
Duration:
12 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: North York, ON ( Hybrid Role) : 7.5 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

Mandatory Qualifications:
Education:
- University degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Preferred disciplines:
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Certifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario – Mandatory
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a transit operating environment.
- Extensive experience in:
- Project management
- Construction management
- Engineering management
- Heavy construction projects
- Large multidisciplinary projects
Technical Knowledge
- Engineering principles and practices.
- Project management methodologies.
- Conceptual planning and design processes.
- Scope, schedule and cost control systems.
- Construction practices and techniques.
- Contract administration and inspection.
- Ontario Construction Act knowledge.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive consensus.
Software
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency.
Assets (Preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Ontario Class G Driver’s License.
- Experience travelling to construction sites not readily accessible by transit.
