We’re looking for a Senior National Account Manager who is commercially sharp, driven, resilient and comfortable rolling up their sleeves. The role requires pace, tenacity and confidence. You’ll work with two of the UK’s biggest retailers, including the number‑one retailer in the country, in a role that blends hands‑on commercial delivery with growing strategic influence.
As our portfolio and partnerships expand, this position offers meaningful visibility, autonomy and a strong platform for long‑term development.
**The opportunity**
You’ll partner closely with the Head of Sales to deliver the UK fragrance strategy, owning retail and net sales performance, shaping strategic account plans and identifying new opportunities to accelerate category growth. The role is hands‑on, commercially focused and increasingly strategic as the business evolves.
You will also take on direct report responsibilities, supporting capability development and helping shape how our brands show up in‑store and online.
**What you’ll be doing**
* Deliver retail and net sales performance against agreed KPIs
* Build and execute strategic account plans to drive sustainable growth
* Lead the Boots fragrance business and other key national accounts, identifying expansion, innovation and category opportunities
* Produce weekly sales reporting with insight, retail context and clear recommendations
* Maintain accurate demand and commercial forecasting
* Manage P\&L performance with strong commercial rigour
* Drive distribution, visibility, VM and promotional effectiveness across all channels
* Lead range change processes including listings, space negotiations and sell‑in
* Ensure excellent execution of launches, promotions and campaigns – online and in‑store
* Build strong commercial relationships with retail partners and internal stakeholders
* Prepare for and contribute to retailer strategy meetings, workshops and JBPs
* Support and develop your direct report to deliver against commercial objectives
**What you’ll bring**
* Experienced salesperson with a proven track record in the fragrance/beauty/cosmetics industry
* Strong experience managing top‑tier retail accounts –
**Boots experience is desirable**
* A self‑starter mindset with hunger, resilience and the ability to thrive in a demanding sales environment
* Strong commercial acumen and a passion for driving growth
* Excellent analytical capability and confidence with Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to influence, challenge and build credibility quickly
* Comfort operating in a hands‑on role while developing strategic skills
* Leadership experience preferred, or clear leadership potential
