Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and diagnoses across multiple medical specialties as per PM\&DC guidelines.
- Develop and implement patient management plans including treatment regimens, surgical interventions, and follow-up care.
- Provide specialist consultations and support to less experienced medical staff within the institution.
- Manage emergency cases in the Accident and Emergency department promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary treatment approaches involving surgery, critical care, and medical therapy as required.
- Conduct diagnostic procedures and interpret results accurately for informed clinical decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and documentation in compliance with institutional policies.
- Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay updated on advancements in medical specialties.
- Adhere strictly to ethical medical practice standards and patient confidentiality protocols.
- Support clinical research activities and contribute to academic discussions within the healthcare department.
- Liaise with external healthcare providers and specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Identify and manage complex cases requiring referral or specialist intervention.
- Promote a patient-centered approach ensuring compassionate care and effective communication with patients and families.
