Senior Legal Counsel

Fractional Technology Lawyer (India) **15 Hours Per Week \| Remote \| Long\-Term Retainer \| US Technology Company** Lawflex is working with an innovative US technology business to appoint an experienced **India\-based Technology Lawyer** on a flexible part\-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer seeking a high\-quality long\-term advisory role with an international tech client. **The Opportunity** You will support a fast\-growth US business on a range of day\-to\-day commercial and technology legal matters, working primarily during India business hours with occasional communication with US West Coast stakeholders. Approximate commitment: **15 hours per week** **Key Responsibilities** * Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements * SaaS, software licensing and subscription contracts * Customer and vendor agreements * NDAs, MSAs, Statements of Work and procurement terms * Data privacy / security addenda and related clauses * Advising internal stakeholders on commercial risk * Supporting business teams with pragmatic legal guidance * Managing contract turnaround in a fast\-paced environment **Candidate Profile** We are particularly interested in lawyers with **genuine core technology sector experience** rather than purely general commercial backgrounds. **Ideal Experience:** * Qualified lawyer based in India * 5\+ years’ PQE preferred * In\-house legal experience at a technology / SaaS / software company, or strong private practice tech background * Strong experience negotiating technology contracts * Familiarity with US or international counterparties * Excellent written and spoken English * Commercial, practical and responsive approach **Working Arrangement** * Fully remote * Flexible 15 hours per week * Long\-term monthly retainer opportunity * India working hours, with some collaboration across US time zones **Compensation** Competitive monthly retainer based on experience. **Apply** If you are interested in a flexible long\-term role supporting an exciting international technology business, please get in touch with your CV and a brief summary of relevant tech\-sector experience.
