About 0TO9 0TO9 is a fast-growing, profitable European fintech bank built on a unique model: in parallel with our banking operations, we act as a venture builder — launching entrepreneur-driven portfolio companies with capital, licenses, and infrastructure from day one, each a different banking product or vertical. We build alongside a team of founders, colleagues, and investors who bring some of the strongest track records in banking and fintech.
About The Role You'll join our small but growing legal team, working broadly across 0TO9 and our portfolio of fintech ventures. The mandate is deliberately generalist: legal and regulatory matters at group level, plus hands-on support to individual portfolio companies — each a different banking product or vertical — as they build, launch, and scale.
What you'll do:
- Handle corporate and commercial legal work across the group — financing and loan documentation, NDAs, and a broad range of commercial contracts
- Advise portfolio companies on the regulatory matters relevant to their product (licensing, consumer credit, AML/KYC) across Swedish and EU frameworks
- Support new ventures from idea to launch, spotting regulatory requirements early and finding pragmatic routes through them
- Build templates and processes that let teams across the group move quickly and safely
- Manage external counsel where specialist input is needed
About You You're a commercially minded lawyer who thinks in terms of risk and trade-offs rather than blanket no's, and who's comfortable working across many topics with limited precedent or oversight. We expect you to bring:
- 5–10+ years' post-qualification experience
- A background in banking or fintech, working in a regulated context (e.g. a bank or kreditmarknadsbolag)
- Confidence across corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters
- Fluency in English; Swedish is a strong advantage
