Meraki Talent is partnering with a growing
**insurance organisation**
to recruit an experienced
**Senior HR Manager**
. This is a key leadership role combining hands‑on HR delivery with strategic input across the organisation’s
**UK, US and European operations**

Working as part of a
**small, agile HR team**
, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, advising senior stakeholders, and ensuring HR practices remain robust, compliant and aligned to the regulatory nature of the insurance sector. This opportunity will suit someone comfortable rolling up their sleeves while also contributing at a strategic level within a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide end‑to‑end HR support across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management and exits
* Act as a trusted HR partner to senior leaders and managers across the UK, US and Europe
* Lead and manage complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes
* Operate effectively within a
**small HR team**
, taking ownership and working collaboratively to deliver HR objectives
* Develop, review and enhance HR policies, processes and best‑practice frameworks
* Ensure ongoing compliance with UK employment law and relevant international regulatory requirements
* Support organisational change initiatives, workforce planning and broader HR strategy
* Balance hands‑on operational HR delivery with strategic HR projects and long‑term planning
* Oversee and help standardise HR practices across multiple jurisdictions
* Use HR data, insights and metrics to support decision‑making and continuous improvement
**Person Specification**
* CIPD Level 5 qualified as a minimum (Level 7 strongly preferred)
* Proven experience working within a
**small HR team**
, ideally in a standalone or senior HR role
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
* Extensive experience handling complex employee relations cases
* Demonstrable ability to deliver both operational and strategic HR support
* Experience within the
**insurance sector is highly desirable**
; candidates from financial services or other highly regulated environments will also be considered
* Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence at senior leadership level
* Willingness to travel to European offices when required
* Additional language skills would be advantageous
