***\*Senior HR Business Partner role at mid\-sized foreign bank\**** ***Summary:*** The Senior HR Business Partner and Deputy HR Manager is responsible for delivering outstanding and proactive HR partnership to managers and employees of assigned departments, as well as Regional Management. In addition to developing, coordinating, and implementing HR strategy, policies, and procedures, this person will serve as the team lead for the HRBP team, lead for recruitment activities and oversees outsourcing provider, manages all aspects of the compensation process. ***Responsibilities:*** * Responsible for regional recruitment and onboarding processes and overseeing staffing and consulting services processes and RPO provider * Coordinate expatriate staff transfers to/from other international locations * Develop, update, and implement HR strategy, policies, and procedures to align with the bank’s global framework and U.S. employment regulations * Manage all aspects of annual compensation processes for US legal entities and compensation models in coordination with head office * Coordinate annual compensation benchmarking and market analysis practices and evaluate the bank’s New York market positioning * Conduct in\-depth analysis and reporting on market conditions, salary trends, and special compensation needs as required * Partner closely with Senior Management providing guidance for compensation strategies, retention programs and recruitment activities. * Advise and collaborate with senior management on sensitive employee relations matters, such as disciplinary action, reorganization, grievances, and workforce changes * Address and resolve employee complaints in consideration of policies and legal requirements thus ensuring a constructive workplace environment * Support the Global Head of HR and senior management regionally \- both regional and global levels \- to ensure the successful implementation and achievement of business strategy ***Qualifications:*** * 7–10\+ years of well\-rounded HR experience, preferably within the banking or financial services sector. * Extensive skills in compensation benchmarking, advanced market analysis practices, and the ability to drive compensation processes. * Strong knowledge of Front Office and/or Back Office business units. * Extensive expertise in compensation, employee relations, expatriate management, and talent development. * Comprehensive understanding of U.S. employment laws, including hands\-on experience with employment agreements, policy development, and compliance standards. * Hands\-on, team player with strong interpersonal relations and mediations skills. * Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and mediate complex issues. * Demonstrated proficiency MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint and experience with HR systems.
