Job Description
Our global financial services client is looking for a strategic HR Operations Manager to lead a high‑calibre, multi‑country HR Ops function across EMEA. This is a pivotal role shaping the next phase of operational maturity, partnering closely with HRBPs, Talent, Total Reward, and global People Ops.
You'll lead three strong HR Ops Managers across Europe, with accountability for a wider team of 12\-14, acting as the escalation point, strategic guide, and driver of process excellence.
With the UK as the most mature market, your focus will be on elevating capability, consistency and efficiency across all regions.
You'll own operational improvement across Workday, ServiceNow, compliance, onboarding workflows, reporting, and cross‑functional handoffs. This is a build‑and‑scale environment, not a maintenance role.
Based in the City of London, this role requires 4 days per week in the office and occasional European travel.
**Desired Skills and Experience**
What we're looking for:
Proven experience managing managers and leading multi‑country HR Ops teams
Strong operational mindset: process optimisation, automation, efficiency
Comfortable in a matrix structure with global and regional stakeholders
Experience with HR systems (Workday ideal; Oracle/SuccessFactors also relevant)
Ability to develop talent and raise capability across a growing team
Confident working with local legislation and compliance across EMEA
Positive, proactive leadership style with the ability to set direction and motivate
Experience of, or at least openness to, AI adoption and experimentation within HR processes
European languages are a plus
