Position Summary

The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner between management, employees, recruitment teams, and clients. The role is responsible for workforce planning, resource allocation, employee engagement, performance management, client-facing resource coordination, and ensuring the right talent is assigned to projects based on business and client requirements.

Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the Senior HRBP plays a key role in aligning human resources with business objectives while supporting company growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workforce Planning \& Resource Allocation

  • Collaborate with department heads, project managers, and clients to understand current and future resource requirements.
  • Analyze software project staffing needs and identify skill gaps.
  • Recommend and coordinate internal resource allocation based on project priorities, technical skills, availability, and employee development goals.
  • Maintain resource utilization reports and workforce planning forecasts.
  • Support succession planning and talent pipeline development.

2. Requirements Understanding \& Talent Matching

  • Review software project requirements and understand technical skill needs.
  • Work closely with recruitment teams to define hiring requirements.
  • Evaluate employee skills, experience, and competencies for project assignments.
  • Ensure optimal matching of resources to client and internal project needs.
  • Maintain updated skills inventories and competency matrices.

3. Client Resource Management

  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams regarding resource requirements.
  • Prepare and share candidate/employee profiles, CVs, and skill summaries with clients for evaluation.
  • Coordinate client interviews, feedback collection, and onboarding of approved resources.
  • Manage resource replacement and transition processes when required.
  • Monitor client satisfaction related to assigned resources.

. Employee Relations \& Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor for employees and managers.
  • Conduct regular employee check-ins and engagement discussions.
  • Resolve workplace concerns and escalate complex issues when necessary.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and employee experience.
  • Support employee retention initiatives and career development planning.

5. Performance \& Feedback Management

  • Collect and analyze performance feedback from project managers, clients, and employees.
  • Conduct periodic feedback and performance review cycles.
  • Track employee performance trends and recommend development actions.
  • Facilitate coaching and improvement plans where required.
  • Ensure feedback from clients regarding assigned resources is documented and actioned.

6. HR Operations \& BambooHR Administration

  • Maintain employee records and organizational data within BambooHR.
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
  • Generate HR reports and dashboards using BambooHR.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Support automation and optimization of HR processes through BambooHR.

7. Business Partnership \& Reporting

  • Partner with business leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Provide workforce analytics and HR insights to management.
  • Monitor KPIs related to utilization, retention, engagement, and performance.
  • Support organizational change management initiatives.
  • Assist the HR Manager in implementing HR strategies and policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of HR experience, including HR Business Partnering or Talent Management roles.
  • Experience within software development, IT services, or technology companies preferred.
  • Strong understanding of workforce planning and resource allocation.
  • Experience interacting directly with clients regarding staffing and resource requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with BambooHR or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
