Senior Engineer-Roads Maintenance

**Job Function** Oversee and manage road maintenance operations across Dubai, ensuring the effective delivery of preventive and corrective works through contractors. The role focuses on supervising projects, maintaining quality and safety standards, coordinating with stakeholders, optimizing maintenance plans, and ensuring timely execution, reporting, and compliance with RTA procedures. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prioritize maintenance activities based on safety, urgency, and defect severity (e.g., accidents, vandalism, damage). * Supervise and evaluate outsourced contractors to ensure quality and compliance. * Review and approve contractor programs (daily, weekly, monthly, annual). * Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to specifications and plans. * Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for tender preparation and technical specifications. * Review inspection reports and ensure corrective maintenance actions are implemented. * Manage contractor payments and prepare payment schedules. * Develop maintenance plans and propose improvements for infrastructure performance. * Monitor works such as signage installation, road marking, and repairs. * Allocate workload effectively among team members and ensure timely project delivery. * Maintain accurate reporting and ensure data is properly logged in systems. **Qualifications \& Experience:** Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering (or related field) Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in road maintenance or similar infrastructure projects. **Key Skills \& Competencies:** * Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Experience in developing quality standards and inspection procedures * Proficiency in engineering software and general computer applications * Knowledge of statistical analysis and reporting * Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills give me job function
