Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Sub‑Transmission Projects   Role Description We are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support in complex sub‑transmission and substation projects within Sweden’s energy infrastructure. You will work in a technically advanced, safety‑critical environment, taking a leading role in electrical design, relay protection, and bay‑level engineering. The role combines hands‑on design, technical leadership, and close collaboration with customers and multidisciplinary project teams. You will influence key engineering decisions, ensure high‑quality project execution, and contribute to secure and reliable grid operation. Technical Responsibilities * Develop relay and control concepts for sub‑transmission systems * Lead the electrical design of bay‑level cubicles in substations * Plan, design, develop, test, and support installation of electrical systems * Coordinate complex engineering tasks across multiple disciplines * Act as a technical advisor to customers and internal stakeholders * Ensure compliance with national grid standards and project requirements * Drive improvements in engineering quality, efficiency, and delivery * Use engineering tools for analysis, reporting, and documentation Technical Skills \& Requirements * 5\+ years electrical design experience in transmission \& distribution * Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent * Advanced EPC ElMaster experience (mandatory) * SvK AC competence (mandatory) * Strong knowledge of relay protection, control systems, and substation design * Experience working with national grid requirements * Ability to work independently and lead other engineers * Structured, proactive, and quality‑driven approach   Languages: * English: Fluent (required) * Swedish: Strong skills highly advantageous
