A preferred advisor to leading Fortune 500 brands, Nisum enables clients to achieve direct business growth by building advanced technology solutions for seamless digital and physical experiences. **Role Overview** We are seeking a highly experienced **Azure DevOps / Cloud Engineer** who will focus on designing, migrating, and operating cloud\-native platforms across Microsoft Azure environments. The engineer will play a key role in Azure cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, platform reliability, and modernization initiatives while supporting enterprise\-scale digital transformation programs. **What You'll Do** * Design, migrate, and operate cloud\-native platforms across Microsoft Azure * Analyze existing on\-premises or multi\-cloud architectures and translate them into optimized Azure\-based solutions * Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Azure\-native automation tools * Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions * Collaborate with Platform Engineering teams to establish landing zones, networking, IAM, governance, and security guardrails * Apply SRE best practices (SLIs/SLOs, monitoring, alerting) to improve system reliability and performance * Manage and support Kubernetes platforms (AKS) and cloud\-native workloads * Partner with application teams to modernize workloads using containers, microservices, and managed Azure services * Drive cloud cost optimization, resiliency, backup, and disaster recovery strategies * Implement and manage Azure networking components including VNets, NSGs, Application Gateway, Load Balancers, and VPNs * Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights * Act as a technical advisor on Azure cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and operational excellence **What You Know** * 4\+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles * Strong hands\-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including: Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Load Balancer etc * Strong understanding of Azure cloud\-native architecture and best practices * Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code deployments * Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools * Strong understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration * Good understanding of cloud networking and security concepts * Familiarity with DevOps and SRE practices * Experience with monitoring and logging tools in Azure environments * Strong communication and cross\-functional collaboration skills **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
