Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure & Cloud Infrastructure

**Employment Type:** Full\-Time \| Permanent **Location:** Pakistan (Lahore / Karachi / Islamabad) – Hybrid **Hiring Partner:** HireOn (on behalf of a reputed international client) **Role Overview** HireOn is partnering with a leading international organization to hire a **Senior DevOps Engineer** who will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast\-paced environments, enjoy automation, and are passionate about building reliable, secure, and high\-performing cloud ecosystems. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, implement, and manage Azure\-based cloud infrastructure * Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments * Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates * Manage and optimize containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) * Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions * Collaborate with development teams to streamline release cycles and deployment strategies * Implement security best practices across cloud infrastructure * Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability and performance * Continuously improve DevOps processes, tools, and workflows **Core Requirements** * 5 to 8 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering roles * Strong hands\-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, AKS, VMs, Networking, Storage, etc.) * Expertise in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) * Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) * Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) * Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) * Strong knowledge of cloud security and best practices * Experience working in agile environments **Good to Have** * Azure certifications (AZ\-400, AZ\-104, etc.) * Experience with multi\-cloud environments (AWS/GCP exposure) * Knowledge of microservices architecture * Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet) **What’s In It For You** * Work with a globally recognized product\-based organization * Exposure to large\-scale cloud infrastructure * Hybrid work flexibility * Competitive compensation \& benefits * Opportunity to work on cutting\-edge DevOps practices Skills: devops,cloud infrastructure,azure
