Senior Consultant Software Engineering – Oracle Banking Digital Experience

**Role Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled senior software engineer to support the design, customization, development, and secure delivery of digital banking solutions using Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX). The role will focus on backend and middleware services, frontend customization, hybrid mobile application support, secure authentication, application hardening and close collaboration with cross\-functional delivery teams. **Key Experience \& Skill Set Requirements:** * Design, develop, customize, and maintain enterprise\-grade digital banking solutions using Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX 25\.x); * Develop and support backend and middleware services using Java / J2EE and RESTful APIs; * Customize and enhance frontend / UI components using Knockout.js, HTML5, and CSS in line with OBDX framework standards; * Support hybrid mobile application development using Cordova for Android, iOS, and Huawei platforms. * Ensure compliance with application security requirements aligned with OWASP Web and Mobile Top 10 standards; * Implement secure authentication and identity management solutions, including OAuth2, JWT, MFA, and contactless biometric authentication; * Apply mobile application security controls such as certificate pinning, encryption, Play Integrity, application attestation, code obfuscation, and hybrid encryption mechanisms; * Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures using Oracle Database; * Collaborate effectively with Information Security, QA, DevOps, and Enterprise Architecture teams to support timely and secure delivery; * Work within Agile / Scrum delivery models, demonstrating strong ownership, accountability, and proactive problem\-solving; * Exposure to secure hybrid mobile banking applications across Android, iOS, and Huawei ecosystems; * Familiarity with mobile application hardening, attestation, certificate pinning, and secure authentication controls in regulated environments. **Qualification:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. **Experience Required:** * 8–10 years of relevant experience in digital banking, enterprise application development, or related software engineering roles. * Strong hands\-on experience with Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX 25\.x), Java / J2EE, RESTful APIs, and Oracle Database. * Experience with hybrid mobile application development using Cordova across Android, iOS, and Huawei platforms. * Good understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP Web and Mobile Top 10 standards. **Location :** Preferably on\-site based at Lahore.
