* **Role:** Senior Cloud Security Engineer * **Location:** Remote * **Employment Type:** Full\-time - **Compensation:** Competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications, and location. **Indicative range:** $140,000 – $220,000 (USD equivalent), plus benefits. **Role Overview** We are hiring a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to design and operate the security controls across our cloud environments. The role combines deep cloud expertise with security engineering — building defensive architectures and responding when things break. **Key Responsibilities** \- Design and implement cloud security controls across AWS, GCP, or Azure \- Build and maintain detection, alerting, and incident response capabilities \- Lead threat modeling and security reviews for new architectures \- Implement and operate IaC security, secrets management, and identity controls \- Respond to incidents and lead post\-incident reviews \- Partner with engineering on shift\-left security practices **Required Skills and Qualifications** \- 5\+ years in security engineering with strong cloud focus \- Deep expertise in at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) \- Hands\-on with IaC (Terraform), CSPM tools, and SIEM platforms \- Strong scripting skills (Python, Go) and security automation experience \- Working knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI) \- Industry certifications (CISSP, AWS Security, GCP Security) are a plus **What You'll Bring** \- Curiosity to dig into systems and turn findings into shipped improvements \- Strong written communication and ability to explain technical decisions \- A test\-and\-learn mindset; you ship fast, measure, and iterate \- Comfort working asynchronously across time zones **What We Offer** \- Fully remote, flexible work hours \- Performance\-based bonus structure \- Annual learning \& development stipend \- Health and wellness benefits (varies by location) \- Opportunity to work on high\-scale, real\-world impact projects **Equal Opportunity Statement** This is an equal opportunity role.
