\*\*\*PLEASE APPLY ONLY IF YOU HAVE RELEVANT EXP IN KVM AND OTHER SKILLSSET\*\*\* Job Title: Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Garden Linux / KVM / Gardener Kubernetes) Location: Pakistan Office – Onsite sessions if required Language: English Start Date: ASAP Engagement: Full\-time Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support internal platform and infrastructure teams by providing deep technical expertise across Gardenlinux, KVM virtualization stack (Cloud Hypervisor, QEMU, Libvirt), and Gardener Kubernetes environments. The primary objective of this role is to ensure high availability, stability, and performance of the organization’s internal cloud infrastructure and managed Kubernetes clusters through advanced troubleshooting, configuration optimization, and infrastructure best practices. Key Responsibilities * Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for Gardenlinux, KVM virtualization stack (QEMU, Libvirt, Cloud Hypervisor), and Gardener Kubernetes environments * Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters, including Seed and Shoot clusters * Perform incident analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause investigations (RCA) * Optimize system configurations, host performance, and infrastructure reliability * Configure and troubleshoot virtualization networking (bridges, VLANs, SDN) and storage systems (NFS) * Support cluster lifecycle management, including upgrades, node troubleshooting, and operational maintenance * Collaborate with Operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Platform Engineering teams * Contribute to technical documentation, best practices, and knowledge transfer * Participate in weekly technical syncs, issue reviews, and infrastructure planning sessions Required Skills \& Experience * Strong expertise in Debian\-based Linux systems and kernel configuration * Hands\-on experience with Gardenlinux image customization, build pipelines, and OS hardening * Advanced knowledge of KVM virtualization technologies including QEMU, Libvirt, and Cloud Hypervisor * Experience with hardware virtualization concepts and host performance tuning (NUMA alignment, CPU optimization) * Strong hands\-on experience with Kubernetes architecture and operations * Experience working with Gardener Kubernetes platform and cluster lifecycle management * Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus * Strong scripting and automation skills using Golang, Python, or Bash * Experience troubleshooting low\-level infrastructure and performance issues Deliverables * Incident troubleshooting and technical analysis reports * Root Cause Analysis (RCA) documentation for critical incidents * Infrastructure configuration reviews and optimization recommendations * Best practices documentation and operational guidelines * Knowledge transfer sessions with internal teams Interested candidates are requested to **send their resume via DM on LinkedIn** .
