Fluid Projects is a consultancy based in Calgary, AB that focuses on finding practical solutions to water challenges in the Energy Industry. We invest in relationships first which enables us to work collaboratively with clients to navigate the complex and ever-changing landscape surrounding the permitting, storage, reuse, and disposal of water and wastewater.
As a leader within our dynamic company,
RESPONSIBILITIES
will include
· Technical delivery of civil projects including water storage reservoirs/dams, stormwater systems,
facility grading/drainage, water course crossings, freshwater intakes, water transfer stations and
other civil focused projects
· Overseeing all project stages from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs
· Interpreting and applying relevant municipal, provincial, and federal regulations
· Performing complex engineering calculations, grading and earthworks, stormwater management,
and structural foundation designs
· Preparation and review of proposals, design documentation, and technical reports
· Reviewing and stamping of engineering deliverables
· Conducting site inspections
· Mentoring junior team members
REQUIREMENTS
· Possession of a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
· Registered as a Professional Engineer and in good standing with APEGA
· 10 years applicable experience in industry
· Experience in the consulting sector preferred
· Excellent English communication skills, and experience in preparing and reviewing technical
reports
· Possess a Class 5 Driver’s License and legally authorized to work in Canada
