design \& build and turnkey construction company
specialising in premium residential projects, luxury villas, bungalows, apartments and commercial developments across North-East India.
We are looking for a
Senior Civil Engineer
who can take ownership of project execution, coordinate with architects and consultants, and ensure that construction is carried out with high standards of quality, safety, planning and workmanship.
About the Role
As a
Senior Civil Engineer
, you will be responsible for the
overall execution and technical supervision of assigned projects
.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in
residential construction
, particularly
premium bungalows, villas and multi-storey buildings
, and should be comfortable taking independent decisions at site.
You will work closely with the Directors, Architects, Structural Consultants, Site Engineers, Supervisors, Contractors and vendors to ensure projects are delivered as per approved drawings, specifications, budgets and timelines.
Key Responsibilities-
1. Project Execution
- Take complete responsibility for the day-to-day execution of assigned construction projects.
- Plan and monitor construction activities according to project schedules.
- Ensure work is executed strictly as per approved architectural and structural drawings.
- Coordinate all major civil and finishing activities from foundation to handover.
- Monitor manpower, materials, machinery and subcontractor deployment.
2. Site \& Technical Management
- Supervise RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, external development and finishing works.
- Review structural and architectural drawings and identify discrepancies before execution.
- Coordinate with architects and structural consultants regarding technical issues.
- Ensure proper setting out, levels, dimensions and alignment at site.
- Resolve technical issues arising during construction.
3. Quality Control
- Maintain high standards of construction quality and workmanship.
- Inspect incoming construction materials and ensure they meet approved specifications.
- Monitor concrete, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry and finishing quality.
- Ensure proper execution of waterproofing and other critical construction activities.
- Identify defects and ensure timely rectification.
4. Project Planning \& Monitoring
- Prepare and monitor weekly and monthly construction plans.
- Track project progress against planned timelines.
- Identify delays and implement corrective measures.
- Coordinate with procurement and site teams to ensure materials are available when required.
- Maintain daily progress reports and project documentation.
5. Contractor \& Manpower Management
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, masons and site labour.
- Monitor productivity and workmanship.
- Allocate work fronts and ensure optimum utilisation of manpower.
- Verify measurements and work completion before submission for billing.
- Maintain professional relationships with contractors and vendors.
6. Cost \& Material Control
- Minimise material wastage and unnecessary rework.
- Monitor consumption of cement, steel, aggregates and other construction materials.
- Verify quantities against BOQs and drawings.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for material requirements.
- Assist in maintaining project costs within approved budgets.
Required Qualifications \& Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
from a recognised institution.
- 6–8+ years of relevant experience
in construction.
- Strong experience in
residential construction, villas, bungalows and premium homes
.
- Experience in handling projects independently from execution through finishing.
- Strong knowledge of
RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, waterproofing and finishing works
.
- Good understanding of architectural and structural drawings.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods and site practices.
- Experience in contractor and manpower management.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Candidate
We are particularly looking for someone who:
- Has substantial experience in
premium residential construction

- Can independently manage a construction site and lead the execution team.
- Has strong technical knowledge and practical site experience.
- Understands the importance of
quality, detailing and finishing
in luxury residential projects.
- Is disciplined, organised and highly accountable.
- Can work under project deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Has excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Is willing to take ownership rather than simply supervise assigned tasks.
