The IT SaaS Engineering Team plays a critical role in optimizing MongoDB sales processes, streamlining customer interactions, and maximizing the efficiency of our sales efforts. By leveraging Salesforce, the team ensures that business users have the tools, automation, security, and governance needed to effectively manage customer relationships, support operational processes, and drive business growth.
With deep expertise in Salesforce administration, platform governance, automation, and system operations, the team continuously enhances the Salesforce CRM platform to meet evolving business needs. The team partners closely with stakeholders across Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Security, Compliance, and Engineering to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable Salesforce solutions.

What you’ll do
- We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Administrator – CPQ & CLM to manage and enhance the Salesforce CRM system supporting MongoDB’s Sales organization
- Effectively work both autonomously and collaboratively across Salesforce platform administration, configuration, release support, security, and audit-related activities
- Work closely with Tech Leads, Program Managers, Developers, DevOps teams, and Business Stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable declarative solutions
- Contribute across multiple functions including platform administration, CI/CD participation, release support, access governance, security improvements, and audit readiness
- Ensure appropriate controls, documentation, and governance practices are followed to maintain a strong and effective control environment
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and maintain the Salesforce platform, including users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing settings, page layouts, record types, and other core administrative functions
- Administer and support Salesforce CPQ and CLM processes, including product configuration, pricing rules, quote templates, approval workflows, contract generation, contract lifecycle workflows, and related business process automation
- Partner with Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Deal Desk, Legal, and other business stakeholders to improve Quote-to-Cash and Contract Lifecycle Management processes
- Build and enhance Salesforce solutions using declarative tools such as Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, Lightning App Builder, Dynamic Forms, and page layouts
- Support DevOps and CI/CD activities including deployment, validations, release readiness, environment coordination, and change migration across Salesforce environments
- Participate in audit processes by supporting evidence collection, validating controls, documenting configurations, and helping close identified gaps
- Maintain a strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, including profiles, roles, permission sets, field-level security, object access, and sharing rules
- Support platform stability and day-to-day operational activities by troubleshooting issues, resolving user requests, and maintaining data integrity
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements, improve processes, and recommend scalable platform solutions
- Maintain clear documentation for system configurations, release activities, controls, support procedures, and governance practices
- Research platform capabilities, best practices, and new Salesforce features to continuously improve system effectiveness and administration maturity
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of Salesforce Administration experience in a mid-to-large enterprise environment
- Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator, Salesforce Certified App Builder, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Sharing & Visibility Designer certifications are required
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification strongly preferred
- Familiarity with AI-powered and agentic tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Agentforce, and similar platforms
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Copado, Gearset, Git-based deployment workflows, or similar tools
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
Success Measures
- In 3 months, you will have developed a strong understanding of MongoDB’s Salesforce platform, support model, security posture, release processes, and core business workflows by working closely with stakeholders and technical teams
- In 6 months, you will have independently delivered multiple configuration-based enhancements, actively contributed to release and DevOps activities, and started driving improvements in platform governance, security, and operational efficiency
- In 12 months, you will have become a trusted Salesforce platform owner who can confidently contribute across administration, declarative delivery, security reviews, audit readiness, and release support while helping strengthen the overall Salesforce operating model
