Senior Accounting Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Senior Accounting Analyst to join a growing accounting team within a dynamic and globally recognized organization. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high\-growth environment, supporting both general ledger accounting and project\-based financial operations. This position is part of a rapidly expanding team, with strong visibility across the business and direct collaboration with project and operational stakeholders. **Salary Range: $90\-110k CAD \+ Bonus \+ Hybrid Schedule** **Key Responsibilities** * Perform full\-cycle general ledger (GL) accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations * Lead and support month\-end and year\-end close processes * Prepare and analyze financial statements (P\&L, balance sheet, cash flow) * Conduct financial analysis to support business decision\-making * Manage project accounting activities, including tracking revenue, costs, and profitability by project * Perform contract analysis to ensure accurate revenue recognition and cost allocation * Partner closely with Project Managers as a key financial liaison, providing insights and support across project lifecycles * Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards * Assist with process improvements and contribute to building scalable accounting operations as the team grows Collaboration \& Impact * Serve as a point of contact between accounting and project teams * Work cross\-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership * Support a fast\-paced environment with multiple active projects and evolving priorities **Qualifications** Required: * Fluent in French with conversational/functional English * 5\+ years of progressive accounting experience, with demonstrated growth * Strong experience with: * General ledger accounting * Month\-end close * Financial statement preparation and analysis * Experience with project accounting and/or contract analysis * Working knowledge of IFRS **Nice to Have:** * Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA/CPA, CMA/CPA, or CGA) * Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
