Job Description

As we continue expanding across the region we’re looking for a detail\-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support our dynamic operations. Job Purpose: The Senior Accountant position is a replacement role designed to ensure continuity while strengthening the organization’s accounting function. The role is responsible for overseeing core accounting operations, maintaining financial accuracy, supporting regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and serving as a key coordination point within the finance team. The position plays a critical role in ensuring timely reporting, strong internal controls, and effective financial support to the business. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee day\-to\-day accounting activities, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations. * Manage and execute month\-end and year\-end closing processes in a timely and accurate manner. * Prepare and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple entities and regions. * Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and eliminations. * Support internal and external audit processes and maintain strong internal control procedures. * Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory requirements across jurisdictions. * Collaborate closely with finance and cross\-functional teams to support business operations. * Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as required. Skills \& Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within the retail or retail fashion industry. * Strong understanding of accounting practices and tax regulations across GCC countries. * Hands\-on experience with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (BC) is an advantage. * Strong communication, organizational, and team coordination skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast\-paced environment What You’ll Bring • Strong autonomy and responsibility in managing work. • Excellent knowledge and experience • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
