Senior Accountant

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the accounting operations of our Dubai office. This role will be responsible for overseeing day\-to\-day accounting activities, monthly and quarterly reporting, payroll\-related accounting, vendor payments, budgeting support, VAT compliance and other finance\-related activities. The role will also supervise one Accountant and support the strengthening of finance processes as the Dubai office evolves from a Representative Office to a more independent operating structure in the future. As the business expands, the role is expected to support broader finance responsibilities, including invoicing, receivables, commercial accounting and possible ERP transition. The company is currently using Sage Accounting \& Payroll systems. In the future, when the Dubai office becomes more independent, there may be a transition to another ERP platform. Eg. S **Responsibilities** * **Accounting Operations \& Financial Reporting** * **Accounts Payable, Receipts \& Cash Management** * **Payroll Accounting \& Employee Settlements** * **Budgeting \& Analysis** * **VAT Compliance \& Audit Support** * **Head Office Coordination** * **Asset Control \& Stock Taking** * **Admin Projects \& Management Support** * **Team Supervision \& Process Improvement** * **Future Business Transition Support** **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is preferred. * Minimum 7–10 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a senior or supervisory accounting role. * Strong experience in financial accounting, month\-end and year\-end closing, payments, reconciliations, payroll accounting, budgeting, and VAT. * UAE accounting experience is required. * Experience with Sage or similar accounting / ERP systems is required. * Exposure to SAP or ERP migration projects will be an advantage. * Experience in a multinational or regional office environment will be preferred. * Experience in a trading,
