**Role: Senior Accountant (Remote\-Pakistan)**

**Senior Accountant**
.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate financial records.
* Categorize transactions and review bank and credit card feeds for proper classification.
* Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts regularly.
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows with accuracy and timeliness.
* Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory standards.
* Review the work of junior team members and provide feedback.
* Support internal reviews by preparing schedules and documentation.
* Prepare and analyze financial statements and internal management reports in accordance with US GAAP.
* Take ownership of assigned projects and assist with ad hoc financial analyses.
* Perform other accounting\-related and administrative duties as needed.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
* CPA, ACCA, or CA certification (preferred).
* Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, including accounting for eCommerce businesses.
* Hands\-on experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite.
* Experience working with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and Amazon.
* Proven experience reconciling payment processors and marketplaces (Stripe, PayPal, Square), including fees, refunds, and chargebacks.
* Strong understanding of eCommerce revenue recognition and inventory accounting.
* Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.
* Proven track record of resolving inventory discrepancies and strengthening COGS controls in multi\-system environments.
* Experience validating account balances within a structured leadsheet framework, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper rollforward support.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (especially Excel/Sheets).
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical abilities.
* Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
* Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast\-paced, remote environment.
**Work Schedule**
* Full\-time availability, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
