Senior Accountant

Magna Financial is a specialist foreign exchange provider with a strong presence in the UAE, UK, and Spain, delivering global currency solutions to corporate and private clients worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Dubai team, playing a key role in ensuring accurate financial management, compliance, and strategic decision\-making across our operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and maintain the general ledger across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards * Lead and coordinate month\-end and year\-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting * Prepare and review management accounts and detailed reports to support strategic decision\-making * Handle multi\-entity accounting, including group accounting and consolidation of financial statements * Perform detailed account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and maintain strong internal controls * Support budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis across business units * Ensure compliance with local and international accounting regulations, including across multiple jurisdictions * Collaborate with auditors and assist in internal and external audit processes * Contribute to maintaining efficient financial processes and high standards of financial governance across the group **Experience \& Skills** * Strong experience in multi\-entity and group accounting environments * Solid understanding of consolidation accounting and management reporting * Knowledge of international and local financial regulations and jurisdictions * Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail * Ability to work independently and manage complex accounting structures
