Senior Accountant

Location Dubai, UAE Employment Type\-Full time Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage the accounting and financial operations for a group of companies in the UAE. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with strong potential to convert into a permanent position based on performance and business requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong UAE accounting experience and be capable of independently handling accounting, VAT/tax filings, registrations, reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities * Manage day\-to\-day accounting operations for multiple group companies * Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports * Handle VAT filings, corporate tax\-related documentation, and compliance requirements * Manage company registrations, renewals, and financial documentation * Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and ledger management * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports * Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities when required * Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial transactions * Ensure compliance with UAE accounting and taxation regulations * Support management with financial analysis and reporting requirements Requirements * Minimum 5\-7 years of UAE accounting experience * Experience handling accounting for multiple companies/groups preferred * Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements * Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities * Immediate joiners preferred * Able to develop as a leader Opportunity This position offers the possibility of conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
