An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join a leading international insurance broker. The role offers strong exposure to technical accounting, regulatory reporting and M\&A activity, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and FCA requirements, while supporting improvements in reporting quality, controls, and process efficiency.

Location: London

Hybrid working: 3 days onsite

Salary: c.£70,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and application of accounting policies and financial reporting standards across the business
• Assist with implementation of new accounting and regulatory requirements, including technical analysis and guidance
• Support M\&A activity, including accounting treatment, integration support, and related reporting
• Prepare technical accounting papers to support key judgements and decision-making
• Contribute to group and entity-level reporting processes, including consolidated outputs
• Support regulatory and financial reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Assist in strengthening financial controls and driving process improvements across Finance

Qualifications \& Experience

• ACA / ACCA qualified (1+ years PQE)
• Qualified in audit (insurance or financial services preferred)
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS
• Advanced Excel skills; Power BI beneficial
• Experience working with complex financial data
