Ansari, the company combines manufacturing excellence with modernized distribution to bring vibrant global flavors to its customers. **Role Description** This is a full\-time, on\-site role located in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial statement preparation, perform account reconciliations, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards. Additional responsibilities include managing budgets, forecasting, and assisting with audits. The role requires collaboration across departments to streamline financial processes and ensure accuracy in reporting. **Key Responisibilities** * Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules * Perform general ledger reconciliations and account analysis * Manage month\-end and year\-end closing activities * Review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions * Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring * Support inventory accounting and reconciliation processes * Assist with payroll\-related accounting entries and reporting * Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis * Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules * Coordinate with external auditors and financial service providers * Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls * Assist with HST, payroll remittances, and regulatory filings * Support accounting process improvements and operational efficiencies * Maintain organized financial documentation and records **Qualifications** * Strong financial skills including Financial Statement Preparation, Budgeting, and Forecasting * Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Experience with Audit Processes * Keen knowledge of accounting standards such as IFRS or Canadian GAAP * Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel * Exceptional analytical and problem\-solving skills * Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * CPA designation or equivalent (preferred) * Experience in the food industry or supply chain management is a plus **Location:** Woodbridge, Ontario **Job Type:** Full\-time \| Permanent \| In\-office **Salary:** $85,000 – $90,000 per year **Schedule:** Monday to Friday \| Weekends as needed If you are an experienced accounting professional looking to grow within a dynamic and expanding organization, please apply.
