Job Summary

Our client company is seeking an experienced

Senior Accountant

to manage the company's accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in

double-entry bookkeeping, ledger management, bank reconciliations, and preparation of final accounts

while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records using double-entry accounting principles.
• Record and manage daily revenue transactions.
• Perform bank and cash reconciliations on a regular basis.
• Maintain and reconcile vendor, supplier, and customer ledger accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare monthly Profit \& Loss statements and other management reports.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements and final accounts.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
• Assist with financial audits and provide supporting documentation when required.
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and accounting records.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of

double-entry bookkeeping

and accounting principles.

• Expertise in ledger posting, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
• Hands-on experience preparing Profit \& Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Final Accounts.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks while meeting deadlines.

Education \& Experience

• Bachelor's degree, B.Com, M.Com, ACCA, CA (Inter), ICMA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Relevant accounting experience with the ability to independently handle the responsibilities listed above
