Senior Accountant

With a strong tradition of professionalism and excellence, FinSight Partners values collaboration and expertise to create meaningful financial impact for its clients. **Role Description** This is a full\-time, on\-site Senior Accountant role located in Kitchener, ON. We operate out of Catalyst Commons, a hub for technology and innovation\-focused firms. The Senior Accountant will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, manage the general ledger, and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Daily responsibilities include budget management, financial forecasting, audit preparation, and reviewing reconciliations. The role also requires collaboration with team members and communication with clients to provide strategic financial guidance. **Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * CPA designation or working toward CPA certification is highly preferred * 4\-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with exposure to multiple clients or business units * Proficiency in financial reporting, general ledger management, and budgeting * Strong understanding of tax laws, compliance, and audit preparation * Advanced skills in Excel and QuickBooks Online * Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail * Proven ability to manage concurrent deliverables and deadlines * Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration * Exposure to modern finance tooling such as Xero, Dext, Plooto, or Stripe * Forward\-thinking mindset with a demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly and apply it to improve how work gets done **What We Offer** * Clear runway for career growth as the firm scales, with a defined path toward leadership roles * Direct mentorship from a CPA * Exposure to a diverse portfolio of growth\-stage and established clients * Meaningful ownership over how the firm builds and scales its delivery practice * Professional development support, including CPA dues, continuing education, and conference attendance * The annual salary range for this position is: $75,000 \- $90,000, plus performance bonus
