Senior Accountant – Construction & Contracting

Located in Abu Dhabi, UAE, this role entails managing financial operations, preparing and analyzing financial reports, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for budgeting, financial forecasting, supporting audits, managing cost control strategies, and working closely with project teams to ensure accurate financial tracking across all construction\-related activities. **Qualifications** * Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in the construction and contracting sector * Expertise in accounts payable and receivable, cash flow management, and cost control * Experience with accounting software, financial analysis tools, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel * Understanding of UAE\-specific tax and regulatory compliance * Proficiency in document management, attention to detail, and organizational skills * Ability to collaborate with cross\-functional teams and communicate effectively * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; certifications such as CPA or CMA are advantageous * Prior experience in the construction or contracting industry is highly preferred
