This role offers exposure to fund accounting, financial reporting, and operational finance, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within the investment sector. **Position Overview** The Senior Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with fund accounting processes. This position requires a strong attention to detail, an ability to work with complex financial data, and familiarity with accounting principles specific to investment firms. Key Responsibilities * Assist in general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations across multiple investment entities. * Support fund accounting operations, including tracking capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations. * Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for management review. * Assist with audit and tax preparation, working with external auditors and tax advisors. * Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing. * Maintain cash flow projections and help manage bank reconciliations. * Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. * Work closely with the Controller and finance team to improve accounting processes and efficiency. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. * 3–5 years of accounting experience * Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles. * Experience with Excel and accounting software (such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Yardi). * Detail\-oriented with strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
