Account Manager – Complex Engineered Solutions (Key Accounts) | Remote, Canada

MTLI Group is a North American turnkey industrial contractor and systems integrator with 15,000+ completed projects across every Canadian province and all 50 U.S. states. We sell and deliver complex engineered solutions racking, automation, conveyors, mezzanines, construction, and full facility relocations partnering with the world's leading material handling and automation manufacturers.

We're growing our team and hiring experienced Account Managers who already know this industry, have grown major accounts, and understand that great account management is about making the customer feel genuinely supported.

What you'll own:

  • A portfolio of key industrial accounts $5M+ in annual revenue you'll maintain and grow
  • Selling complex engineered solutions at high quote volume across our divisions
  • New scopes within existing accounts: additional sites, phases, and cross-sell
  • Partnerships with material handling OEMs and suppliers to drive a steady pipeline of installation work
  • Full-service ownership of the customer relationship you're here to give clients the attention they deserve and make them feel supported at every stage

What you bring:

  • Proven track record growing accounts, ideally with Fortune 500 customers
  • Background selling complex engineered solutions in material handling, systems integration, or industrial construction
  • Established relationships across OEMs, integrators, suppliers, and end-user accounts
  • Comfort with high quote volume and complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • AutoCAD proficiency and the ability to read engineering drawings
  • Estimation experience and a strong grasp of racking, conveyors, automation, and mezzanines
  • Solid project management understanding (PMP or equivalent a strong asset) and working knowledge of industrial construction
  • Self-directed, commercially sharp, and customer-obsessed

Compensation: Very competitive compensation package with strong upside for top performers. Travel covered.

This is a senior, high-autonomy, field-based role. You'll work from a home base when not traveling, but the core of the job is in-person meeting customers at their facilities, running site walkthroughs, and building relationships.
