Senior Account Manager

The Senior Account Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering a high\-quality, technology\-driven client service across accounts, tax, and advisory functions. This position combines traditional accounting expertise with leadership, systems knowledge, and client\-relationship excellence. You’ll oversee a portfolio of clients—ensuring accurate accounts production, workflow efficiency, and proactive business insight—while mentoring junior staff and driving digital transformation within the firm.   Competitive salary (based on skills and experience, Rs \~200,000 to 500,000\)   **Job Description** * Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of SME and owner\-managed clients. * Identify advisory opportunities and support digital onboarding to cloud platforms. * Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all deliverables. * Maintain data integrity across automated workflows and resolve discrepancies. * Assist with data mapping, integration of software, automation and continuous improvement on processes. * Supervise and mentor team members, overseeing workflow and quality. * Provide training on software and digital tools. * Foster a culture of innovation and process automation. * Provide clear financial analysis, commentary, and KPI insights. * Contribute to advisory reporting through a data visualisation tool **Preferred Qualifications** * Education (ACCA or Master’s) in Accounting or related disciplines. * Advanced user of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks or FreeAgent and their integration with other software. * Good understanding of data analytics. * Excellent computer skills in general (e.g., using tools like the MS Office ecosystem). * Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects. * Ability to dive deep into data to identify issues and solutions. * Timely and accurate delivery of statutory accounts. * Efficiency gains via automation and improved data workflows.   **The Successful Applicant Should Have** * Proven ability to manage and complete complex tasks. * Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and troubleshooting skills. * Strong attention to detail. * Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
