Job Brief

We are seeking a dynamic and growth-driven

Business Development Manager

to join in Sweden. This hybrid role is focused on driving revenue growth across

IT Staffing (Staff Augmentation), Consulting Services, Workforce Solutions, and Technology/Product Offerings

.

You will own the complete sales lifecycle — from identifying opportunities and understanding client challenges to positioning the right mix of staffing, consulting, and technology solutions that align with customer business objectives.

If you are a strategic hunter with strong commercial acumen, experience in service and solution sales, and a proven ability to build long-term enterprise relationships, this role is ideal for you.

Role Description

This is a full-time role based in Sweden, with flexibility to work remotely.

The Business Development Manager will:

  • Drive business growth by identifying customer needs across product/solution offerings, staffing, and professional services
  • Create and close new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client partnerships
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue and growth targets

The role includes ownership of the end-to-end sales lifecycle covering:

  • Consulting services
  • Workforce solutions
  • IT Staff Augmentation
  • Digital and technology/product offerings

You will actively contribute to revenue growth through both service-based engagements and product/solution sales, ensuring long-term customer success and business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth \& Strategy

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across staffing, consulting, and product/solution sales
  • Understand customer business challenges and position appropriate service or technology offerings
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to uncover growth opportunities
  • Develop account growth strategies, including upselling and cross-selling

Sales \& Revenue Ownership

  • Drive the complete sales cycle: lead generation, qualification, proposal creation, negotiation, and closure
  • Manage and maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools
  • Achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets aligned with organisational goals
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and pricing models

Client \& Strategic Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships
  • Develop strategic accounts and expand enterprise partnerships
  • Engage with CXOs, HR leaders, procurement heads, and business stakeholders

Workforce \& Talent Solutions

  • Identify customer talent requirements and deliver workforce solutions aligned with business needs
  • Collaborate with recruitment and delivery teams to ensure successful talent fulfilment
  • Ensure clients are matched with the right professionals
  • Position value-added services and products to enhance customer outcomes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with recruitment, technical, and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Foster strong internal alignment to ensure service excellence

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in Business Development, Sales, and Client Relationship Management
  • 8–12 years of experience in IT Staffing, Consulting, Technology, or Professional Services sales
  • Demonstrated experience in service sales and/or product/solution sales
  • Strong expertise in strategic planning, market analysis, and competitive positioning
  • Hands-on experience with talent acquisition, recruitment processes, and workforce planning
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in contract negotiation and pricing models
  • Excellent networking, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Track record of consistently achieving sales and revenue growth targets
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms and business development tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience in software, technology, consulting, or professional services industry is a strong plus
  • Fluency in English (Conversational Swedish is highly preferred)
