**The Role**
We are seeking a dynamic
**Sales Manager**
to drive our growth across the United Kingdom. This is a "hunter" and "farmer" hybrid role: you will be responsible for nurturing our existing UK clients while aggressively opening new doors with major retail groups, independent fashion houses, and luxury brands. You will act as the bridge between our global production teams and the creative directors of UK fashion scene, ensuring that EU Design remains the go\-to supplier for trims and accessories.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Business Development**
· Leverage your existing contacts to introduce EU Design’s product range to fashion brands, designers, and buying houses.
· Identify and target new business opportunities within the UK apparel and home textiles sectors.
**Account Management**
· Build and maintain strong, long\-lasting relationships with existing UK customers, acting as their primary point of contact.
· Understand client design needs and collaborate with our internal merchandising and design teams to develop custom trim solutions.
· Manage negotiations, contracts, and pricing to ensure customer satisfaction while achieving company sales targets.
**Strategic Planning**
· Develop and execute a UK sales strategy to grow revenue and market share.
· Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform product development and sales tactics.
· Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to senior management.

Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to analyze performance versus plans, update forecasts, and provide specific reporting on commercial initiatives.
**Product Development**
* Collaborate and coordinate with regional offices for product development and other enquiries etc.
**Candidate Profile**
We are specifically looking for a
**young, hungry, and determined**
sales professional. You may be early in your career but have already proven you can open doors. Alternatively, you may be an experienced manager looking for a role where you can truly own a territory.
**Essential Qualifications \& Experience:**

**Industry Passion:**
A genuine passion for the textile/fashion industry and an understanding of garment construction and trim application.
Experience working within a
**fabric mill or trims supplier**
is highly preferred
·
**Existing Network:**
**Proven connections and contacts within UK fashion brands**
(High Street, Contemporary, or Luxury). You must be able to hit the ground running.
·
**Sales Acumen:**
A track record of success in a sales or account management role, ideally within the textiles, fabrics, or garment accessories sector.
·
**Communication:**
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to senior stakeholders (e.g., Head of Design, Buying Managers).
·
**Self\-Starter:**
Managing your own diary for client visits across the UK and hit the sales target.
**Desirable Skills:**
· Fluency in Italian is a plus but not required.
**Location**
This is an on\-site role primarily focused on the UK market. We also welcome candidates based in Paris who are willing to travel to the UK regularly to engage with customers.
