Role Description This is a part-time, remote Sales Manager role responsible for driving sales performance and supporting the overall growth of Airport Kia’s vehicle business. The Sales Manager will oversee remote sales activities, including managing online leads, responding to customer inquiries, and guiding customers through the digital sales process from initial contact to final agreement. Day-to-day tasks include coaching and supporting sales representatives, monitoring key performance metrics, and coordinating with in-store teams to ensure a seamless handoff and excellent customer experience. The role also involves developing and implementing remote sales strategies, optimizing online sales processes, and collaborating with marketing to improve lead quality and conversion. The Sales Manager will consistently model professional, customer-focused behavior and help foster an inclusive, high-performance sales culture.

Qualifications

  • Proven skills in sales management, including setting goals, monitoring performance, and coaching sales team members.
  • Experience with remote or online sales processes, including managing digital leads, virtual consultations, and CRM tools.
  • Strong customer service, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to support a positive, trust-based buying experience.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, track KPIs, and use insights to adjust strategies and improve results.
  • Knowledge of automotive retail or a related industry is preferred, with familiarity in new and used vehicle sales considered an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers and team members.
  • Comfort with technology, including video conferencing, online collaboration platforms, and dealership or sales management systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Post-secondary education in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is an asset, or equivalent experience in sales leadership.
